About Sell Workplace Data to AI

This site is the work of a few people who went through Slack's privacy principles, Zoom's thirty-day retrieval clause and the Connecticut and New York notice statutes line by line; each platform's row links the copy we stored, and a person who read them writes back to you.

Why we built this

Chat history is what AI buyers increasingly ask for, but it is written by staff, held on a platform's contract and covered by monitoring and personal data law. This site sets the platform clauses, the laws and the buyers' own words side by side.

Who this helps

Founders, operations and legal leads at companies whose teams have worked in Slack, Teams or similar tools for years, and the administrators and advisers handling a company that is being sold or wound down.

On these pages

The core is one question, "sell workplace data to ai", and a quote form that needs no login. Around it sit 4 guides. There is also a citable data table (figures and method) and the pages we read to build it.

Limits

  • We do not rank chat platforms; each row is the platform's own sentence and our reading of it.
  • We never take workspace exports, tokens or logins through the form.
  • We do not hand an enquiry to any platform on the board.

Accountability

No chat platform or data buyer pays for a listing here, and there are no affiliate links. Every answer is our reading of the published document, not legal advice about your workspace. Our fee, if the company licenses its workplace data to a buyer we introduced, is 12.5% of the deal, with a minimum, when we are its exclusive agent, or 10%, with a minimum, when its chat history is bundled or pooled, set in writing beforehand; any fee from a buyer is credited back to the company.
